Sustainability

Rico & Bambo takes responsibility for the manufacturing process and strives for designs and quality that will be loved for a long time. We aim to enable users to use our products comfortably and ultimately make choices that are kind to the environment and society.

Sustainable Design

Wearing clothes for a long time contributes to reducing waste caused by mass production and mass consumption, a social issue in the apparel industry. Wearing baby clothes for eight months can reduce annual greenhouse gas emissions by 24%.

Organic Cotton

Organic cotton reduces greenhouse gas emissions by 46% and water pollution by 98%. Only 0.91% of the total cotton production is organic cotton. Furthermore, we use domestically produced fabric that has been internationally certified.

Made in Japan

Currently, 98.5% of Japan's apparel industry is imported. We aim to contribute to the survival of the domestic apparel industry and achieve a sustainable economic cycle.

Timeless & High Quality

With designs that are not influenced by trends and sewn in carefully selected factories with the highest level of skill, we aim to create products that can be passed down to the next generation, just as kimonos are passed down from generation to generation.
