Rico & Bhamho is a sustainable babywear brand with a unique size adjustment design. The clothes are made in Izumo, Shimane Prefecture, using 100% domestically produced, internationally certified organic fabrics. The designs can be worn to celebrate milestone events, from newborns' discharge from hospital and ceremonial dresses to shrine visits, first meals, and first birthdays.

Neck Ribbon
The adjustable neckline is one of the key design features. By adjusting the way it's tied, it can be worn by baby boys. The neckline can be opened wide, making it relatively easy to put on for babies who can't yet sit up.
Sleeves
For newborns, the sleeves are round and rolled up with buttons. From 6 months of age, the sleeves become long and fluffy. In hot weather, you can roll them up to adjust the temperature.
Romper Button (crotch)
The crotch button has two levels of fastening. The small button that you thought was roomy will eventually grow out of size. The design uses plenty of fabric around the buttocks to accommodate growth.

1. Sustainable Design

生後0-12ヶ月の間、形を変えて1着を着るデザイン。それは何度もの試作と、沢山のお子さんの試着協力を経て誕生しました。機能が全面に出ず、あくまでデザインの一部として成り立つように工夫された形は2年の構想を経て実現。現在は多くのお客様の退院着から、お宮参り着、お誕生日など様々なシーンで着ていただけるようになりました。

2. Organic Cotton

丁寧に3年以上無農薬で育てられたオーガニックコットン。Rico & Bhambo（リコアンドバンボ）は、そこから更に厳しい国際基準をクリアした国際オーガニック機関認証の糸を採用。その糸が丁寧に織られ、本プロダクトの生地が日本国内でつくられています。赤ちゃんへの上質な肌触りと肌への低刺激性はもちろん、洗うほどにもっちり柔らかく、通気性の良い通年素材です。

3. Made in Japan

オーガニックのガーゼ生地の縫製は、自然由来がゆえのふんわりとした生地と、多重ガーゼの扱いづらさから、非常に高い技術が必要となります。そのため、Rico & Bhambo（リコアンドバンボ）は島根県出雲市の厳選された工場とのみ提携し、縫製を依頼しています。大量生産・大量消費でなく、品質の良いものを長く愛してもらえるように、1日5着のみの製造に想いをのせています。
